Our specialty-trained physicians have been treating professional, amateur and student action sports athletes for over 26 years. We are committed to comprehensive management of sports-related injuries for athletes of all ages using the latest operative and non-operative treatments.
Our physicians utilize a team approach in working with each injured athlete to return them to their highest level of performance in the safest and fastest manner possible. We recognize that treatment methods are determined on an individual basis, not the industry norm. We evaluate each athlete's injury and are able to rehabilitate on time frames that best suit the athlete.
Sports medicine conditions include but are not limited to:
- Tendonitis
- Sprains and strains
- Dislocations
- Fractures
- Shin splints
- Ligament injuries and tears
- Stress fractures
Some operative interventions for these injuries include:
- Ligament reconstruction
- Arthroscopy
- Stabilization of broken bones

To meet the athletic needs of our community, we created a Sports Medicine Outreach Program. This program is designed to provide orthopaedic care incorporating pre-season physicals; on-site physician coverage at sporting events; 24-hour, on-call physician availability; and immediate treatment to injured athletes. Our physicians and Athlete Services Team work in conjunction with coaches and athletic directors to design programs that are unique for your institution.
We have three subspecialty trained physicians providing care for our Sports Medicine Outreach Program. They are available to handle your sports related injuries and assist with injury prevention.
