The primary goal of CORE Orthopaedic Medical Center when treating workers' compensation patients is to provide the highest quality care to the patient and return them to the work force in an expedient manner. We have designated full-time Workers' Compensation Specialists to handle all of your needs.

Early diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries is vital to returning an injured worker to the job as soon as possible. We utilize this approach to reduce both medical costs and time lost for work.

Services Available From Our Workers' Compensation Department:

  • Appointments scheduled on the same day or within 24 hours of the injury
  • Workers' Compensation Specialists to meet your needs and the needs of the patient Monday - Friday
  • Convenient location
  • On-site pharmacy
  • All treatment plans, tests, injections, operative procedures pre-certified in advance
  • Same day status reports to patient and workers' compensation representative
  • Board Certified Surgeons
  • Fellowship trained surgeons in Hand, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spine, and Sports Medicine
  • Medical reports available for faxing within 72 hours
  • Hardcopy reports mailed twice weekly attached to 1500 Claim forms
  • Second opinions and IME's scheduled within a week to 10 days (depending on the availability of medical records)
  • Physicians on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Physician privileges at area hospitals
  • Physician conferences available (possible charge for service)

FAQ's Can your department obtain my records?
No. Your records must be sent by your adjuster.

Can you schedule an appointment without authorization?
No. Your adjuster must contact us with an authorization before an appointment can be made.

How long will it take to get outside services authorized from your office (ie. PT, OT, MRI)?
All authorization requests have to go through Utilization Review. This process varies in length depending upon required paperwork.
