The physicians and staff at CORE Orthopaedic Medical Center understand how crucial it is to have communication with our referring physicians and their office staff. Our goal is to keep our referring physicians informed and up-to-date about the patients they refer to our office.
This section is designated for referring physicians who want current information about CORE Orthopaedic Medical Center. Our team of physicians, nurses and office personnel are accessible and provide continuous communication with referring physicians. Referrals
The CORE Orthopaedic Medical Center team will keep referring physicians informed during diagnosis and treatment of their patients. We will be glad to send discharge information to referring physicians when patients return to their care.
Office Hours and Appointments
The physicians and staff at CORE Orthopaedic are available and on call 24 hours a day for urgent needs. If you have a non-life threatening emergency, please call the office at (760) 943-6700.
Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have a patient that you would like seen by a particular physician within our practice, please have one of your staff members call our office directly. This will ensure the patient is seen in a timely manner.
Information Needed for Patients Referred to Our Office
When your patients arrive for an initial office visit, they should bring the following:
- Copies of medical records from the referring physician
- All tests (including x-ray, MRI, CT)
- List of medications
- Insurance card(s)
Research Department and Current Clinical Studies
Our physicians have extensive experience in conducting phase I, II, III and IV clinical trials under FDA regulations. They have conducted studies involving the spine, knee, hip, shoulder, hand, wrist, and foot. Our participation in numerous investigational studies with pharmaceutical and device companies has allowed our facility to become a national training site for physicians. Our participation in clinical trials allows us to continue offering patients with the best treatment options possible. Your patients may be eligible to participate in our current clinical trials. Participation in studies allows your patient to receive free evaluation and treatment, prescription, and the opportunity to become involved with cutting edge orthopaedic technology and procedures.

Financial Policies
CORE Orthopaedic participates in most health care. Private pay patients are responsible for paying for services when they are rendered. VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

CORE Orthopaedic also offers marketing tools for referring physicians to assist them in not only the referral process, but in educating their patients in regards to orthopaedic related injuries and disorders as well. One example is our issues of, In Motion, magazines. In Motion is designed to serve as both an educational and entertainment avenue for patients, referring physicians and the general public. The magazines incorporate aspects of our practice as well as industry "hot topics', "what you need know" and community news and review.
