Prior to his graduate program, he received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University. In 2022, Chris became a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) furthering his expertise in the examination and treatment of musculoskeletal pathologies. Chris grew up in Ocean Grove, New Jersey where he worked as a lifeguard and developed a strong passion for surfing. His draw to the ocean is a big reason he fell in love with San Diego and now considers it home. Chris has a long history of competitive soccer play and continues to enjoy running, hiking, biking and most all outdoor activity. Growing up with parents who owned a small Physical Therapy practice, he has been exposed to and inspired by rehabilitation from a very young age. Chris takes pride in developing individualized treatment programs and utilizing advanced interventions including; active release techniques (ART), pin and stretch, active muscle pumping (AMP), joint mobilization, myofascial release, cupping, IASTM and neuromuscular re-education. Through thorough evaluation and implementation of advanced manual therapy and corrective exercise, Chris works with patients to eliminate pain, improve movement quality and facilitate return to optimal function.
