Kelsey was raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed her undergraduate studies at Penn State University. In college, she majored in Biology and completed a minor in Kinesiology. After graduation, she took a year off and volunteered at a local ER prior to entering PA school at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Kelsey’s interest in Orthopedics was sparked after sustaining an ACL injury in college. “Going through that recovery process was difficult both mentally and physically and I knew I wanted to help patients through that process like my provider helped me”. As a former athlete and avid sports fan, she strives to get her patients back to a healthy, active lifestyle. She previously worked in Orange County for over 6 years at a multi-specialty orthopedic office prior to joining Core. Kelsey has certifications from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and BLS for Healthcare Providers. In her spare time she enjoys working out, watching her Nittany Lions and Eagles, and just relaxing on the beach.
