Susie Croke, MPT, CSCS, earned her Master’s degree of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s College in 1993. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science/Physical Education from Arizona state University in 1991 and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2002. Susie incorporates manual therapy techniques and her knowledge of strength and conditioning to treat her orthopedic patients. Susie also has her SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) Level 1 certification which is a movement based diagnostic system to help find the cause of pain by breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns. She is also SFMA Level 2 trained which helps guide the use of mobility techniques and motor control interventions based on the SFMA system. She is FMS (Functional Movement Screen) certified which is a movement screen that identifies movement patterns that one moves well in and those that are not ideal which need to be protected and corrected. She is certified in and utilizes the Y Balance Test which measures motor control under body weight loads and one’s functional symmetry. She is a certified provider in the ASTYM system which is used to help promote regeneration of soft tissue, reduce scar tissue, and restore mobility.
