Amy is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 18 years of experience treating patients who suffer from a wide array of orthopaedic conditions. Originally from Illinois, she completed her Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University. She subsequently trained at Touro College in Brooklyn, NY, where she received the Touro College Clinical Excellence Award and obtained her degree in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating with high honors. After graduation, Amy took a PA position with a sports medicine orthopaedic surgeon in Queens, NY, for 2 years.
Amy joined Core Orthopaedic Medical Center in 2004. “It is my goal as a Physician Assistant to use my experience and training to improve patients’ understanding of their conditions while providing them with appropriate treatment options. I believe patients should be actively involved in the decision making process regarding their care.” Amy has certifications from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and BLS for Healthcare Providers. She is a member of Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants and California Academy of Physician Assistants.
She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her family.
